Update: SEIU Professional Negotiation Session 12

The University and SEIU met for a full day of bargaining; the first since the COVID-19 pandemic. Federal mediator Stephen George was present during this session. The union presented seventeen economic proposals, including 5% across-the-board annual wage increases, new and expanded annual seniority “step” increases as well as the creation of new pay differentials. The University and the union each presented three counterproposals on non-economic articles. The parties TA’d articles on Management Rights and No Strike/No Lockout.
