Update: SEIU Professional Negotiation Session 9

Both parties met for a full-day session. The newly appointed federal mediator introduced himself to the group and explained his role. UIC distributed the latest Status of Proposals chart, which details the SEIU’s 60 outstanding proposed changes to the contract and UIC’s two outstanding proposed changes. The parties presented and discussed possible compromise language regarding Article III (Negotiations and Exclusive Representation).
